Spent all afternoon at show and shine. Downtown Parker was packed and the race fans were awesome! The CANIDAE Losi Trophy Truck was a huge hit!! Everyone loved how the two matched perfectly. We were also able to talk about Responsible Pet Ownership to hundreds of passionate race fans who love their pets. It was so cool to meet so many great people. We eagerly await the results of today's qualifying to see where we start on Saturday.

Scott Whipple and Pat Gailey just pulled off their qualifying lap. Everything worked flawlessly. The CANIDAE Trophy Truck produced tremendous power, while the outstanding Geiser chassis sucked up the huge holes created by all the other entries. Due to Team CANIDAE's last-minute decision to run in the Parker 425, the CANIDAE Trophy Truck team missed out on the qualifying lottery and had to qualify at the very end of the pack.

With nearly 70 cars going before us, the track was torn up and the ruts were enormous. The sand is so deep in some areas that the Trophy Truck either bogged or sung RPMs to the moon! Whipple and Pat Gailey were very happy with their performance and are headed to downtown Parker for the show and shine with the rest of the team to spread the message of Responsible Pet Ownership and give away some free CANIDAE and FELIDAE samples and coupons. Check back soon for more....

First practice lap went well. Really sandy, really deep. On the last big burm, the CANIDAE Trophy Truck went up onto two wheels -- Whipple recovered quickly but got hung up on the huge sand burm. Now Team CANIDAE is waiting to qualify. Stay tuned...

Team CANIDAE now arriving in Parker, AZ. - Once again we found ourselves with a late departure last night. One long drive, one flat tire on a tow vehicle, early morning arrival, and maybe 2 hours of sleep. Now, camp CANIDAE begins to form. Next up: time trials -- time to rock and roll !!
