Wooooohooo! What an awesome race. Scott Gailey and Johnny Stroschein left the starting line in 18th position and rocketed the CANIDAE Pet Foods Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck to a physical finish of 7th. The actual finish times will take a few days to post, so check back for our official points score. We estimate a 5th to 7th place finish... No one knows for sure just yet... But, Hey! Not to bad for CANIDAE Racing's first ever, brand new, just finished late late Thursday night Trophy Truck!!! WOW!! Thanks to all our sponsors and to CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods. What an awesome team to be a part of. Now the task of breaking down our pits and packing it all back in the trailers! Check back for more updates. |

Good morning race fans! Team CANIDAE is in the grove once again with Scott Gailey in the driver's seat and Johnny Stroschein navigating The CANIDAE Pet Foods Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck. Yesterday was a long day with two transmission changes, and we can't forget about the fire that melted a few things. All repairs have been made. Scott Gailey took the T/T out in the sport truck class race this morning for just a couple of tuning laps. Scott guided the T/T from 12th position to 4th position in just 2 laps then pulled off the track showing sufficient performance and great handling. Team CANIDAE thanks Clyde Stout for loaning us a transmission to keep us racing today! Special Thanks to our race coaches Rick and Jeff Geiser for all their knowledge and assistance. And Special Thanks also to the guys who helped put this T/T together in record time and with such attention to detail: Big Gene Towler of GET Performance, Nick, Daran, Patrick and Trent -- GREAT JOB GUYS, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD! |

We are going to run in the Sportsman class for seat time again at 9am, then the Trophy Truck race at 1:00pm. A few shots of the pits from yesterday included below too. |

The Trophy Truck race kicked off at 1:00pm with the T/Ts leaving in pairs every 30 seconds. We were in last place at #27. Once again Scott Whipple and Patrick Gailey were in the gas as they pushed the CANIDAE Pet Foods Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck through the pack, taking out competitors one at a time. At one point Whipple was on two racers and was trying to pass, but couldn't find a hole. Then the two racers drifted apart and Whipple seized his chance and shot through the middle. Great job! After having moved up to the top ten in the final lap, the transmission got very hot and blew a line which caught fire. Both drivers were safe and were able to put the fire out. Fortunately, we have another trany ready to replace it with, and Team CANIDAE is taking care of business once again. We are all in good spirits and still pumped up. Should be up and running tonight for the races tomorrow morning. Wish us luck. |

TEAM CANIDAE TAKES FIRST PLACE IN THE SPORT TRUCK SERIES! Scott Whipple and Patrick Gailey raced the Sport Truck series this afternoon in the CANIDAE Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck. Starting in 20th place, Whipple and Gailey passed every vehicle ahead of them in this 6 mile, 5 lap course. The Sport Truck series is a competitive class where there are no limits to the vehicles, and plenty of great drivers. Anyone can race whatever they have. This was great pre Trophy Truck racing - getting familiar with the track and the adrenaline rush of competition. TEAM CANIDAE is so pumped up right now! The Trophy Truck race starts at 1:00pm. |

Good morning race fans. What a great day yesterday - cool weather and lots of sunshine here in Laughlin. Good Times!! Last night the CANIDAE Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck piloted by driver Scott Whipple participated in the Laughlin Leap. It's a flat out pedal to the metal run toward the big jump. The CANIDAE Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck flew 96 feet before the first wheel hit the ground! Not bad for a first time run!!! Good job Scott. We are still waiting for info on where we placed in qualifying, but we are participating in two races today. First is the Sport Truck series at 9:00am and second is the Trophy Truck race at 1:00pm. The extra race is great for more track time and getting personal with the truck. We'll be back after the race with more updates... |

WOW!!! Scott Whipple and Scott Gailey with co-drivers Johnny Stroschein and Patrick Gailey got the CANIDAE Trophy Truck on the race course for testing. With Scott Gailey taking the 1st lap to feel it out, the crew gave an "all's good" inspection and then handed it over to Scott Whipple who took her out for three laps. On first lap Scott took it easy, getting the feel and response of the CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods Geiser Bros. Trophy Truck. After another thorough inspection, he hit the course for a second time with more aggression on in the turns, berms and of course the jump. The Trophy Truck was handling great. 3rd lap was full blast with Lucas Oil lubricating all the moving parts and the Torco Racing Fuel feeding the 500 hp power plant. The BF Goodrich tires bit, and the Trophy Truck sprang into action. It handled better than expected and with a few minor adjustments we will be ready for qualifying. Team CANIDAE has been amazing with all their hard work and dedication which shows in how the Trophy Truck handled today. Gene Towler of GET Performance did an amazing job with the final fabrication. Special thanks to our sponsors Lucas Oil, KC HiLiTES, Fox Racing Shox, K&N Filters, McKenzie's Performance Products, Racepak Data Systems, CALTEX Freight Brokerage, Torco Racing Fuels, Matco Tools, and Redline Performance. |

The CANIDAE T/T arrived back at our shop from Redline Performance. The guys at Redline were a huge help making minor adjustments and were able to achieve astonishing horsepower, torque, and MPH numbers on the dyno. They also spent several hours wrapping up the final details and set up on our Racepak data acquisition systems. Thank you Redline for a great job and tremendous effort. Stay tuned for updated pictures as we assemble body panels and unveil the finished trophy truck. |
